We left Kamloops, BC at high noon, Sunday, July 7. (Happy Birthday Kayl, Nana & Papa are off to the north). The trailer is loaded and I mean loaded and so is the box of the truck and the back seat is folded up to make room for the golf clubs. Hidey Ho, off we go.
The route is highlighted in pink.

I don't think we will run out of food for awhile.
Arrived in Valemont to a balmy 32 degrees at 4:30. It was on with the aircon lickety split. Just before we left our friend Mike was visiting his Mom next door when he showed us the Kokanee fish he caught that morning. Then he gave us 2 for supper tonight. So we are going to throw them on the Barbie.

And now we are chillaxing. Even though it was only 4 hours driving, its been an exhausting day. The 1st day is always the hardest with establishing a routine, organizing, and ironing out the bugs. Tomorrow its off to Hinton. Visit & spend the night with my niece and family, and my older sister & husband.
BE SAFE have a safe journey.
